Logon to AS/400 and the Database

Hi,

I would like to ask for an advise. I need to access in read only mode some
databases which are located on a remote AS/400 server (64kB Frame Relay). As
ODBC data source I am using native drivers supplied with Client Access and I
have an permanent problem with login - using database component (D3) I can
make a login into db but I am still asked to login into system. If sb supply
its own logon name and passsword which is different from logon parameters
supplied within database component the system denies the access to the
database. I have to use different logons because of the user authorities to
databse objects

I will really appreciate any help
