Isthere any command line option to increase the video cache size to a greater value in Lineage II Goddess of Destruction Harmony client? This would in turn allow me to have lesser lags and greater loading times. I read in the official forums that there is an option to do exactly this by editing the l2.ini file but that would be altering the client so I want to know if there is another way around this problem...

Unfortunately "Lineage 2 is a very poorly coded game". I did experience lots of lags in crowded areas and even Alt+P barely helped. But when I was just killing mobs or PvPing(PKing once in a while) the game was running smooth.

there is a problem with the interterface and the l2.ini and the CharacterDisplay, of distance "name", I am trying to adjust the distance to see the "names" at a distance, almost in minimum, and I continue seeing the names at a totally exaggerated distance, as if I had about 3000 of "distance name" maybe more,

I would like to graduate it to a normal distance of 1500 so it does not lower the FPS in the game so much, I tried to edit the file "L2.ini" with my file edit of "l2 classic", manually but I could not enter the file

Actually there is a problem - visible results of adjusting can be seen only if sliders are placed at "very narrow" for PC/NPC range and "minimum" for display limit. So, please, try this combination. I have already sent information about this trouble to our developers.

I know it's too much to ask, but it would be nice if they could make 2 types of l2.ini, with a "[CharacterDisplay] Name = true Dist = 1500", and the one they have now, which should be "Dist = 10000" , because I see everything ...
