SoI've been trying to purchase a new S23 Ultra. After spending crazy amounts of time on phone and chat (about 3 hours) trying to resolve price discrepancy, the kind agent said he would set up a reimbursement for the difference that would be processed once my purchase was completed.

After going through every color option of both the 256 memory, I finally settled that I was stuck with black (but all colors available if purchased for any popular cell service carrier). I proceeded through the purchase options & trade in questionnaire and go to checkout. Have to go grab my credit card - and boom; message pops up that phone is now out of stock. At this point I'm angry & frustrated so give up for the night. This AM I try again going for the 512 memory (much more than I need but not much I can do if I want the phone, I guess). And, the exact. same. thing happens!?!? No phones available for pick up at Best Buy & undeliverable "in your area" However, when I go to the Best Buy website, there are, in fact, unlocked phones available. Why?? I get that some of the phones are set aside specifically for the Verizons & AT&Ts, etc but unlocked phones are there and available for purchase. This is just so incredibly frustrating!! I'm trading in an S22 Ultra in perfect condition but Best Buy won't be able to come anywhere close to trade in value from Samsung - which isn't really surprising I guess but geez, does brand loyalty mean absolutely nothing? #s23 ultra

Same thing happened to me - spend a couple of hours on chat trying to get a Galaxy S23 Ultra, any color, at the offered price of $875. The offer had been withdrawn, and yet the web site still apparently offered it. All was well until check out, when the price went up $325. Every time. For both me and for two different Samsung associates who tried to put my order in themselves. Extremely frustrated. I don't trust any Samsung offers any more.

Hey am right there with you. Same thing happened to me. Tmobile told me they have available. I spent an hr with customer service and adding a line to get the deal for s23 ultra, they said ohhh they don't have on stock anymore. I have been using galaxy notes from note 5/ 8/9 and wanted to upgrade but am so disappointed now. I called my network to get s24 ultra after it came out, they told me we don't have the same discount on it anymore.. at this point I am switching. Am so tired of wasting my time with purchasing one.

Thank you for your message and your interest in the S23 Ultra. We are currently experiencing very high demand, bigger than we expected. That is why we can not deliver every order on the release date. As soon as possible we hope to deliver every order.

I have been trying to get a warranty replacement for my Galaxy s23 Ultra for 2 months because of battery issues. The only thing T-Mobile could offer was the Galaxy s22 Ultra. They said they have no idea when the s23 Ultra will be available. I had to downgrade because my s23 Ultra bit the dust and was unusable. I am very disappointed in Samsung and its supply chain.

My computer runs 64-bit Ubuntu LTS Desktop. Is there any way I can use it to revert my Samsung Galaxy S9+ (SM-G965F, dual SIM) to the stock Samsung Android ROM? I can only find _samsung_to_stock_on_windows (and it looks very complex!). Thanks for any ideas here.

Revert to Samsung OS is easier using Odin than Heimdall, but you can follow

Flashing Samsung Firmware with Heimdall

or

[HOWTO] (Needs expert review) Flash Galaxy s9+ to Stock Android 10 using heimdall-gui

Odin in a Windows VM worked. I think the ROM was meant for Switzerland but I changed the language to English (USA) and it worked as expected. Lots of bloatware (ugh!), spyware, tracking, so way worse than /e/ OS in many ways, but now I get VoLTE (very necessary since T-Mobile USA dropped 3G support) and Wi-Fi calling (also quite nice to have). This is a bittersweet victory.

Regardless of your reasoning, there's no better way to restore the stock firmware on a Samsung device than using Odin, which is a firmware flashing tool for Windows. There's a bit of prep work that you'll need to do in order to get things going, but beyond that, it's actually an incredibly easy process.

Next, you'll need to download Odin itself. The latest version can be found at this link, and all you need to do here is extract the contents of the ZIP into a folder you can access easily.

Finally, you'll need to grab a copy of the stock firmware for your particular variant of the Galaxy S6. Start by heading to SamMobile's firmware site, then search your device's model number using the field at the top of the page. If you're unsure of your exact model number, refer to the user manual that came with your device, or look under the "About device" menu in Settings.

From here, leave all of the options selected exactly as they are, then click the "AP" button near the center of the window. At this point, a file browser menu will pop up, so use this to select the firmware file that you extracted from the ZIP in Step 4.

After selecting the firmware file, keep an eye out on the "Log" tab near the bottom-left corner of Odin. When it says "Leave CS," you're ready to flash the firmware. Click the "Start" button at the bottom of the screen to begin.

At this point, Odin will get to work on flashing the stock firmware. The process will take around 10 minutes, but when it's done, the box in the top-left corner of Odin will read "Pass," and your phone should automatically reboot. If it doesn't reboot, press and hold the volume down and power buttons on your phone to manually restart the device. At this point, you can disconnect your phone from your PC.

DID YOU WRITE THIS OUT OF YOUR HEAD AND TOOK SOME RANDOM PICTURES YOU FOUND ON THE INTERNET? I SEE CF-ROOT STUFF IN ODIN. THIS TUTORIAL DOESNT WORK FOR ANYONE WITH A ROOTED PHONE, IT WIL BOOTLOOP!! YOU NEED TO FLAS A CUSTOM KERNEL AT LEAST AFTER FLASHING STOCK ROM!

I am so lost, I hope you can help. I bought this phone at a shop down the street because I though I was saving money. It was fine for awhile, but suddenly it locked up. I took it to my T-mobile store and they said it is rooted, so I took it back to where I bought it. They said why d you root the phone, I never did. I then sent my phone to samsung, and they sent it back saying it was rooted and out of warrenty. What do I do where can I take it in the Huntington Beach ca. area. My WIFI works fine, but I can't make or receive phone calls, and I can't screen mirror to my smart tv.

When I turn on my Galaxy tab 2 10.1 it boots to the logo then goes to the "SAMSUNG" screen, then it stays there. I've tried to do a hard reset by holding down the power button and the volume up button and have done both reboot and wipe data and still gets hung on the "SAMSUNG" logo. What else can I do to fix this?

I have the Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet and I found it stuck on the Samsung logo. I can't boot to recovery because it just cycles back to the logo. I can boot to odin mode but even with odin I can't get connected. It says Downloading and my computer sees the USB connection but I am completely unable to get it to recover or even transfer files. It's stock/not rooted so I don't know how it suddenly bricked itself. It was doing fine running the same clock app that's been on it for 2 years now. I don't believe Samsung has pushed any updates recently.

SUCCESS, NO LONGER STICKS AT BOOTUP! My Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Version 2014 was rooted. It had been operating just fine for about 2 years until June 2017. Then it would boot to the T-Mobile screen and stick there. I entered the reset mode (simultaneously hold down Power button and Volume button). I tried Factory Reset many times but to no avail. I began looking for a new tablet, but then tried one more thing. Using Samsung Kies 3 on my PC, I upgraded my tablet Operating System from Android Version 4.4.2 to 5.1.1. SInce then it is working better than ever.

Re: SUCCESS, NO LONGER STICKS AT BOOTUP! I have been using Lollipop 5.1.1 for about a week. It is absoulutely junk.! I will be rolling back to Kit Kat 4.4.2. Things I noted: I pair English and Spanish versions of books I study. In KitKat 4.4.2 I could leave that pair open, go to a different app and return to the open pair. In Lollipop, you leave/return closes half of the pair. In KItKat 4.4.2 when I wanted to "CREATE" a Spanish/English pair in 2 windows, I could name the pair. Can't name pairs in Lollipop. - worthless. There are 5 pairs I use regularly and can't identify which is which in Lollipop.

In KitKat I saved a folder of online newspapers to read. Can't assemble them smoothly in to a Lollipop folder. SEARCH FUNCTION: Could go directly to Google Search in KitKat . The search window in Lollipop is the same as the URL window - very confusing. A THUMBS DOWN! for Lollipop!

Before reading below there is a common issue with these tablets where they do not turn on properly or get stuck on the charging battery icon. Try holding power + volume down for 10-15 seconds and attempt to turn it on and or charge it again.

Hold power button + volume up + home button until Samsung logo appears. When Samsung logo appears stop holding the power button but continue holding the other buttons. Once you get into a recovery menu which usually release all keys.

Hello, I had the same problem and all I did after reading through this article was to remove the battery and put it back; I then held power + volume down for 10-15 seconds and there it was, i am now able to comfortably input my password and use my phone. PS: I did not uninstall any applications.
