Hi guys,

I downloaded the inn revival client and managed to get it working
online. HURRAY! I managed to play a couple of quick rounds of Shadows
of Yusaria and managed to die rather quickly. I also downloaded the
game manual for the game and gave it a quick look through. The only
thing i need now is a build for the barbarian profession as i don't
know where i should spend my points, and as stated on the manual once
they are spent they are gone forever. So i don't want to put points in
the wrong stats and possible end up with a useless character. Any
assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Zunafux

Choose a race with the best combination of health, strength, defense,
and agility - maybe gnome or orc. Raise initiative to 5 at the start,
pump strength as you level until it caps, then defense. Sell your
barbarian resuscitator, buy a decent barbarian weapon, some armor
(probably mace + round shield + head chainmail + chainmail), a couple
duelist insignias, a teleport pass (this saves your position if you
use it to get out of the dungeon), a lockpick, and some heal potions.
Save your early points for the shield spell (start at 4, then raise a
point per level), clubs/axes and athletics abilities. Use your common
sense from there. Points do not necessarily have to be spent
immediately, and you don't have to raise spells to max if that means
the new mana cost of casting them will be too high.

I'm not really sure there is a 'wrong' place to put stats, since you'll earn more points down the line anyway, and there's a max you raise each stat to. Nice to see others playing though!
