Dear ladies and gentlemen,

dear global innovation colleagues at openIDEO,

first I would like to congratulate you for the great work that you are doing with openIDEO design and innovation platform http://www.openideo.com/about-us .

I have found it today on internet and I think it is really great.

My name is Miroslav Polzer, I am secretary general of International Association for the Advancement of Innovative Approaches to Global Challenges IAAI www.glocha.info based in Klagenfurt/Austria and I would like to propose to you to launch on openIDEO a 15/15/15 challenge on openIDEO platform.

We have formed with other Civil Society Organizations active in the UN system in the run-up to United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (so called Rio+20) www.uncsd2012.org a Rio+20 Issues Cluster on Innovation http://uncsd.iisd.org/news/rio20-issues-cluster-on-innovation-produces-brief-on-innovation-for-sustainable-development/ which resulted in a Rio+20 United Nations - Civil Society Resource Mobilization Partnership Voluntary Commitment http://www.uncsd2012.org/rio20/index.php?page=view&type=1006&menu=153&nr=88 (global civil society committing on the one hand to mobilize 15 billion Euros and 15 million volunteers by the year 2015 for sustainable development efforts linked with UN system and requesting new forms of participation in global sustainable development governance in exchange) adopted in Rio, 14 June 2012 http://www.glocha.info/index.php/latest-news/198-iaai151515sideeventrio .

A first workshop on implementation of the initiative took place 25 September in New York http://www.glocha.info/index.php/latest-news/203-wsresourcescsoparticipationunny the next one taking place Tuesday next week at the UN in Vienna (see attachment for details).

I would be grateful if you could consider this cooperation offer rather quickly so that we can include your decision already in the planning of our next steps at the workshop next week.

Looking forward to fruitful cooperation

Best regards

Miro
