I am Donna Hunnewell and I run the Wish Project furniture and baby
goods-bank. To my knowledge we are the first and only goods-bank in
the country. Similar to the food bank and food, we work to make sure
the poor in the region have basic goods. Half of our mission is also
to recycle and we are proud to recycle more than 600 tons of goods per
year.
You may not know that we are also licensed Microsoft computer
refurbishing agency. We offer low cost PC's and laptops to bring them
into the price range of our clients, staff and caseworkers.
(this set if for clients that qualify) For $50 we sell a complete PC
set that has Office, Windows and is ready for the Internet.
(these IBM models below are available to anyone)
Our $150 very small IBM desktop model is much smaller and faster (flat
screen monitor)
Our $250 laptops are available to all. They are IBM Thinkpads and have
Office, Windows and are wireless.
