Hi,

Tried for the 5th time to print an iPhone case.  First file from Thingiverse seemed OK, but after the raft and about 25 layers printed, it started to print globules instead of connected lines of material.  This latest time was not much better, even though I paused it to make sure it had time to stay properly heated (in case that was an issue, although temp was reading just right).

The material that prints in the latter levels of both versions of this item is so disconnected that it actually seems almost granular, and the upper layers of the part have no strength as a result.

Smaller items print just fine.

Any thoughts?

There's something wrong with thermister wiring, the thermister itself or the settings in firmware.

First thing to check is firmware. HEATED_BED_SENSOR_TYPE should be set to 4.

If that doesn't do it, then it's basic troubleshooting with a volt meter...

The bed temp registers at -1.00 and does not move. Any suggestions?

Geoff was a lifesaver - turned temp up to 210, flowrate in "manual" up to 105, and then printed a small game spinner arrow perfectly with the blue PLA.  Also, I have been cleaning the glass bed with steel wool, adhesion problems went away.  Hoping to print the phone case properly on Monday.

Have a great weekend everybody,

Carim
