Hello,

I'm using Inno setup to build installation for my application.

My app is signed , both my EXE and the inno setup installation EXE file.

Even so, the installation is getting blocked on some machines due the Smart App Controls. Looks like the problem is on the TMP file Inno Setup generates while installation.

How can i fix this ?

Are you saying the installation is completely blocked, or a warning is displayed?

Assuming warning, there is no easy fix, or no installer would ever display any confirmation for the user. The way forward is to get enough installations done for MicroSoft to say "ok looks safe"...

There's also this page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission

Click the "Software Developer" button.

I use it for every Inno Setup release to try to combat SmartScreen warnings. In the past it worked better than it does lately.

Have you tried asking the user to go into Properties and explicitly Unblock the installer before running it?  I haven't tested this recently but in the past this often made security checks a bit more lenient.  It might also help if they copy the installer somewhere else rather than running it directly from Downloads.
