Recommended way to detect dotnet installation

I know that InnoSetup has the scripting function IsDotNetInstalled().

What is the recommended way to detect which version of the dotnet sdk is installed?

Does anybody have a Script function to help with that?

I would recommend using Dom Gries' Inno Setup Dependency Installer
