I know there are many custom databases created with Access that are sold.  What I can't find is a process to make an accdb, accde or accdr database marketable and one which can be run by a buyer with or without Access in their PC.  Has anyone created a marketable database created with Access?

I guess you want to start here, and then find a forum specific to access development.

Eivind - thanks for the quick reply.  The link you provided was not one I had been able to find in my search of Microsoft help pages.  Thanks very much.  I'll start exploring the Office Deployment Tool and creating an installation package.  I hope this will be the answer I hadn't been able to find.  I thought I'd post here because I had used Inno years ago to create an executable program to function as a website that I had created with Dreamweaver, which I then put on DVDs to mail to donors to our nonprofit organization.  Thanks again.  I'll post here with how it goes for me.

I'm back after spending most of the last two days researching my issue.  The one solution I found which is something I could understand, given that I do not have true developer skills, is accessribbon.de/en/?Trust_Center:Trusted_Locations by Gunter Avenius.  This is often mentioned in forums.  He has an automated reg key installer as an executable file.  It worked great for me.  One problem - the install confirmation window which pops up when clicking on the executable file is in the German language.  I do not wish to have folks who purchase my database program and who have to have the trusted location keys set because they do not have Access on their machine, have to have a confirmation window in the German language.  I have communicated with Gunter about this.  His response was pointing me to parameter and coding information on his page, none of which made sense to me, the non-coder.  I followed up by sharing with him his answer was confusing to me, and would he be willing to create an English language version, for which I would be more than happy to pay?

Having said all that, does Inno have a similar reg key tool which would automatically install the trusted location keys for Access?

I certainly am unable to create such a thing.  I need an automated tool for sharing with customers if needed.

Yes, Inno Setup has built in functionality for working with the registry. Have a look at the docs and at the examples that come with IS when you install it.
