Itanium support has been removed, unnecessary code still exists

I think that this code can also be removed, since neither Itanium nor Windows XP is still supported.

Thanks for noticing and reporting.

It was not considered safe to remove these workarounds because there might be another Windows version suffering from the problem without us knowing.

The other thing is from the Helper project which hasnt been updated because atm there's no reason to update it.
