Apparently, the old Inno Script Studio no longer works with version 7 of Inno Setup.

Any suggestions?

Inno Script Studio hasn't been updated for a long time, AFAICS (2020?)

There's a free VSCode extension (not updated for IS 7 yet), and non-free extensions for Visual Studio and RAD Studio, via the Third Party Files page: https://jrsoftware.org/is3rdparty.php

[Martijn Laan - Inno Setup]

Hi,

The compiler DLL interface itself hasn't changed, so theoretically Inno Script Studio should still be able to call it.

The problem is likely that it just can't locate your install, because Inno Setup 7 has a different AppId.

Doesn't Inno Script Studio have a setting where you can manually specify the Inno Setup install location?
