Hello,

My idea would be that similarly as now compression settings are defined. Could add new profiles which would be used by file extension, and maybe some other way to activate, not sure.

First clear usage for something like if you have big highly compressed 7-zip files, etc. And seems that LZMA really carwls when it tries to compress something that will not. And having a profile for *.7z that just store, don't even bother to compress.

Does this make any sense?? Not very good English, but maybe you'll decode it...

Hi,

The dontcompress flag is intended to be used for files that don't compress, or are compressed already.

See https://jrsoftware.org/ishelp/index.php?topic=filessection&anchor=nocompression

Greetings,
Martijn
