Uninstaller not starting

Hi all,

I noticed recently that my application can install under Windows Server 2019. But today I had to learn that uninstalling fails. I am sorry I cannot give any details but I just see nothing, no matter what I do (starting it from Apps and Features or directly clicking the exe). No hint in the Windows event viewer or in the logs.

What can I do to trace the problem further?

Try turning off antivirus/malware.

Try running with /log parameter.

Oh, and check windows event log.

Ok, thanks for the hint with the /log parameter. I found the following in the logs

2020-11-30 07:16:50.403   InitializeUninstall returned False; aborting.

Looks like one of my check functions aborts the setup for some reason.
