Inno Setup is now signed using a new code signing certificate:

For over twenty years, we have relied on code signing certificates from Certum and appreciated their support for open-source developers. However, a recent incident where Certum wrongly accused us of signing malware has led to our certificate being unjustly revoked. Despite attempts to resolve this issue with Certum, we've concluded that they can no longer be considered a reliable partner.

As a result, we have transitioned to a new code signing certificate issued by Sectigo under the name of Martijn Laan's company, Pyrsys. This change ensures that Inno Setup maintains the security and trust you've come to expect.

If you currently use a Certum certificate for your own software, we encourage you to consider alternative suppliers to avoid similar issues. Making Certum take the same action against your certificate could be as simple as bundling one of your signed and legitimate files with unsigned malware, uploading it to a sandbox that flags the malware, and informing Certum - clearly an unacceptable situation.
