The Hello Neighbor 2 beta introduces us to the story in the latest chapter. Taking on the role of a journalist, players are investigating the town of Raven Brooks and its bizarre inhabitants. Posters of missing children are all over the place, and it feels like just about every character has something to hide. This cast of peculiar characters of course includes the titular neighbor, who is back and up to no good.
Donovan is a young journalist from Maryland, who likes to game. His oldest gaming memory is playing Pajama Sam on his mom's desktop during weekends. Pokmon Emerald, Halo 2, and the original Star Wars Battlefront 2 were some of the most influential titles in awakening his love for video games. After interning for Shacknews throughout college, Donovan graduated from Bowie State University in 2020 with a major in broadcast journalism and joined the team full-time. Eerie Guest's latest work recorded a considerable delay from the original release date, but fans waiting for Hello Neighbor 2 can slowly prepare for the launch. Admittedly, the debut of the full version of the game is scheduled for December 6 this year, but preorders have started yesterday, thanks to which you can get access to the closed beta.
Basically Hello Neighbor 2 will offer a challenge very similar to that of the first part. We will play the role of a journalist and go to the already known Raven Brooks to find out the mystery of the neighbor. What is supposed to distinguish the sequel is a much more advanced artificial intelligence.
The game can be ordered in two versions - Standard and Deluxe. Both guarantee access to the closed beta of Hello Neighbor 2 (and the full game after its release), and the Deluxe version adds the following bonus content:
