Dear Inner Peace Student,

We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding the curriculum requirements for our 800 Yoga Therapy Certification Program, effective for all students moving forward starting in the 2026 academic year.

The course "Full Lotus: Business of Yoga Therapy" will no longer be a required course for graduation.

This course is being replaced by the mentorship: "Illuminating Your Path as a Yoga Therapist” (our dedicated business mentorship). This change ensures that all graduating students receive direct mentorship in applying business and marketing strategies to their emerging practices. This required mentorship is offered annually from January through March.

What This Means For You:

  • If you have already purchased, started, or completed "Full Lotus": You will still complete this course and count it toward your certification requirements. You are not required to take the "Illuminating Your Path" business mentorship.
  • If you have NOT purchased Full Lotus: You will no longer be required to. Instead, we will require that you enroll in the "Illuminating Your Path as a Yoga Therapist" mentorship starting (or after) in 2026.
  • If you have already purchased, started, or completed “Full Lotus” and “Illuminating your Path” mentorship, great! You are optimally positioned to move your business forward with comprehensive resources and direct mentorship.
  • Optional Purchase (Discount Opportunity): Even though Full Lotus will no longer be a certification requirement for IPYT after 2025, it will still be available for you to purchase at a discount through December 31, 2025. You can learn more and make your purchase HERE using the discount code IPYT200

Students are still required to complete 7 mentorships total in the 800 hour Yoga Therapy program, the Illuminating Path mentorship counts as one of them. If you have any questions regarding this or your remaining requirements, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Warmly,

Michele Lawrence, Director

Inner Peace Yoga Therapy
