A new, so-far hidden, functionality of version 5 allows for time-
limited licenses. We can now offer annual subscriptions to iNMR, and
the price is extraordinary. For small groups, standard licenses still
remain the most cost-effective, though. For single users, disposable
licenses are a safe bet.

In my opinion, the new offer is reasonable and convenient for both
parts. It all depends, of course, on how much NMR you are doing and
how many Macs you have. Email support is timely and effective. When
you ask me an explanation at the phone, I give you the first answer
that crosses my mind. If you, instead, give me a few minutes of time,
I give you the best answer that I can find. The difference can be
substantial. An annual fee of 15-35 euro for email support is
convenient "per se". If you also add the license it becomes a bargain.
If all this is not enough, add on-site training!
You already know that there are many enthusiast iNMR users:

In the years we sold several hundreds of licenses, probably one
thousand, but never used to count the number of active users. This
year there is a counter on my Mac. It says 61 active licenses for
version 5, including mine. It's really a pity that the nicest version
is the least adopted one.
You can get two standard (perpetual) licenses with a little effort, at
no cost. Just invite someone to subscribe. If they decline, you lose
nothing.
