Finally got a chance to test out my new focuscube zero from pegasus astro. First motorized focus motor i've worked with. I'll likely also use it for DSO imaging in the future, but I knew I wanted to try it out on the C9.25 for planetary first. Here are my results from tonight. This is after collimation was checked, which wasn't quite perfect but acceptable. Seeing was poorer than I had hoped, maybe 3.5 out of 7--with a few decent moments. Impressions on the focuscube zero: i bought it with the hand controller because it seemed the simplest solution for now to use for planetary. Honestly a shame that it doesn't just come with it, seems kinda pricey for what it is, but whatever . The hand controller doesn't seem to have as fine a focus option as without it, or perhaps using it with ASCOM via USB...but its really nice to not have the tube shake when adjusting focus. It allowed me to adjust focus during capture if necessary (though I assume best practice is to avoid this), and also takes a great deal of guess work out of the focusing process with the click steps on the knob so I know where I want to really end up on. Only other concern is the motor makes more noise than I thought it would. Did I do something wrong when I attached it, or is it supposed to make a little bit of noise?

The Jupiter one motor lift chair is a medium sized infinite position lift chair available with brown, dark brown or blue Chenille upholstery (100% Polyester fiber) and features 4 casters for easy maneuverability. Let me start by saying I am terrible at soldering. Shockingly bad in fact. I have tremors which makes any type of detail soldering a blasted nightmare and I will likely destroy just about any and all electronics I am working on. Thankfully this board saved my butt repeatedly. I keep spares handy now whenever I'm working on the smaller motors because I love them. I have assembled my own Jupiter's and I plan on doing some other upgrades involving these types of little motors and these boards are crucial. A great little investment to save your work and keep you from pulling out your hair. Bees and some of the other little fiddly creative bits that out of darts has put together have really helped me mod dart guns as well as build the customs. I wouldn't be without them. A small investment that can change your experience from night to day!
I love the idea of having several geared N20 motors at various speeds with this little board and JST connector on the back so I can just swap them out with ease. Perfect solution to different ROF on the Jupiter and P-Pack (which I love more than my children JK) BUT... I can't get these anywhere but here and they're out of stock. Also, the link to the JST connector up there under the description, just sends me back to this board, which is out of stock... did I mention that? :D
Yeah, so ...it's a great idea, be nice if the gear was here to make it a reality.
