I have been printing some parts with standard settings 20% fill density, not that good... Quite fragil.

What settings is the best in fill density/shell thickness printing parts? 100% fill for all of them?
I´m using ABS.

I'm printing in PLA and using 30% infill with 3 shell thickness.  For "non-critical" parts I usually just do 15% infill with 2 shells.

100% fill is serious over kill... Max 50%... Also if you are using abs I suggest using an enclosure or strength will suffer too due to inter layer de-lamination...

The highest I've been able to do is about 97% .. Those parts are basically solid...

A better approach is to insert a metal screw through the center of the gears/pistons.. print at 75% for the gears and reinforce with a screw through the printed gears. Works great, very strong that way.
