Good morning Gael, thank you in advance for sharing your work and enthusiasm with us. I have no electronic knowledge but I am interested in learning and with patience trying to finish the project. I have questions about how to use the Hall AH3503 sensor. In the information that I have consulted, 2 cables are sent to each finger to control the pressure exerted, this is valid for the original option with 2 copper plates. The hall sensor uses 3 pins or contacts so 3 wires should be used for each finger I think. I would be grateful if you could clarify and expand information on the connection of this option and any photograph or sketch of its use and operation. Thank you very much.

The AH3503 needs to be powered (it's a active component) and the third wire is the signal which you can use to read.
It's a good plan to mark al the magnets with a marker at the Nord or South side
HowTo:
Put all the magnets together and they will be all connected together...
Then mark the magnet at one side and disconnect it from the others and do this to all the magnets.

The reason is, the sensor is Nord or South sensitieve !
When they al mounted at the same way, the sensor output will be by all the same direction.
Otherwise, please check the datasheet from the sensor (always good to do, so you will see/read how it works.

Regards,
Marten

I'm in the same situation as you, however after digging around a bit I realized that Gael is planning on releasing a remodeled hand design at some point in which the hall sensors will be used. The waiting game is upon us! XD
Likely wouldn't be too hard to mod some holes into the current design and throw them in, but.... Gael's designs are so solid that I figure ill wait.

Marten, nice advice! Gonna do that now before I forget. That is literally one of the silly things I would likely screw up with not enough coffee to fuel the brain one morning. :9

If you like to do some tests with the sensors, here I've my Finger starter kit:

In my thingiverse description I'm telling to use a other type of sensor, I'm sure the AH3503 will fit.
