Which large servos for biceps should I buy at Amazon? I don't trust EBay and AliExpress.

Hello,
You can find a list of servos for the bicep and other parts in the Hardware and BOM page.

I found a servo adapter on Thingiverse that lets me use standard-size servos in place of giant-scale servos. I'm not sure if a standard servo can move the arm where giant-scale servos are used.

Hello,
The arms are heavy on the small gears of the servos. I would not recommend replacing with standard servos the omoplate servo, shoulder servo and bicep servo. All the other servos could be replaced with standard because they require less effort.

I already have TS-70 servos with metal gears and ball bearings. They have 133.3 oz-in torque. It looks like Tower Hobbies stopped selling TS-80 servos.

I found out that there are standard size servos that have up to 35 KG of torque. Amazon has BETU 2Pack 25KG High Torque RC Servos for $35.

Do all 8 of the HS805BB servos listed for the Arms and shoulders(Left, right) need to be modified for potentiometer?

The BETU 25KG High Torque RC Servos worked well. They can lift the forearm. I'm surprised that they are continuous rotation servos. The only mod is to remove the potentiometer from the servo but there are three red wires connecting the potentiometer to the board inside the servo. My suggestion is to cut and solder one wire at a time.

Hello,
Yes they all need to be modified with the potentiometer extracted.
