Hello,

I finished assembling the eye based on the new Eye Assembly Mechanism. I tried testing with the Arduino for the X and Y axes movement through the servos. It worked perfectly.

Then I implemented the object tracking using Myrobotlab and OpenCV. It worked perfectly after two days of testing. I carried out all these tests with the EyeGlass removed from the head.

Now when I try to screw the EyeGlass back into the head, there is no space for the servos to move in both X and Y directions. What could be the problem? Is it because of the change in design of the Eye Mechanism? The X axis rotation is being hindered by the Jaw supports. I cannot cut or sand it too.

What should I be doing for the smooth functioning of the eye on both the axis? Kindly, help me through this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Salomon,
You must have assembled something in the wrong way.
Can you show a picture of your eye mechanism attached to the EyeGlass and pictures of the inside of the head you have built.
The new mecanism is designed to fit in my head design with the jaw as well.

Hello Gael,

PFA below for the images that you had asked for. You can see that the X axis movement is hindered due to the jaw supports on both the sides. Kindly let me know your suggestion for this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Solomon

looking at your first picture, the eyes mecanism seem to be a bit too low and away of the eyes holes. I have my eyes balls centered on the eyes hole and eyes ball is almost touching the face mask, like less than a mm, just enough so eye movement don't make the eye ball touch the facemask

Hi Salomon,
You seem to have inverted the EyeSupports, I m guessing you have put the left EyeSupporton the right side and upside down, and the right EyeSupport on the left side and upside down.
The EyePlates are correctly placed.

Hello All,

Thanks for your timely help and advice. I got them fixed and now the eye is working perfectly. I had glued the EyeToNose to the EyeGlass at a wrong position. This was the reason for all the trouble.

Thank You.
