Does anyone use Neospeach with inmoov?  I plan on using a raspberry pi and wondered if I will be able to get it to use the voice from neospeach as that has been the voice of my home automation for many, many years.  Hard to change now.

Hello,
I understand your feelings.
InMoov was initially running with proprietary voices from NaturalSpeechReader and I really got used to it, until they changed their policy about free usage of the voice I was using. I still have a hard time with the voices I have to use now.

I doubt it will be easy to use NeoSpeech with your Raspi.
But I found someone that says it's possible.

Thanks Gael,

I will take a look.  They do have some voices that are similar to what I use.  I use an automation program called Homeseer, so I am also going to see if any of the guys over there have Neo working on a pi

So I remembered the other day that I actually changed from Neospeach to CereVoice about 5 or 6 years back because they were a more human sounding voice.  I just looked at the website and it looks like Raspbery Pi is a supported platform.

Here is a link to the website in case any one is interested. https://www.cereproc.com/en/products/sdk

I will post once I actually get these working.

Have you looked at Mycroft (https://Mycroft.ai)?  That’s what I’m going to attempt to tie to mine.  It’s an open source voice assistant.
