Hello everyone,

I am not sure what should all the 3d printed parts from the InMoov robot cost? Cause it's to expensive for me to get a 3d printer.

And Gael how is the progress of your forum?
kind regards,
Michael.

You can't buy the parts, you will have to print them yourself... Depending on where you live you're looking at about $300 or so in PLA or ABS filament.... Then you will need to buy or rent a 3d printer...

Dont think anyone will want to print 24/7 for 2-3 weeks to print it for you. And i think building a reprap isnt that expensive, a prusa i3 will cost you 350 euros, all in

Hi Michael,
You could have a look at the Tiko printer on Kickstarter, very low price, but it won't be available before Christmas anymore.
Concerning the forum, Leonardo is having a look, we will certainly add the bbpress plugin to InMoov website and there is ways to generate a script to gather all data from the Google forum. But personnaly, I am too busy these coming weeks, to even take care of that. We will see.

Sir i took a look at the tiko printer n i think this is best buy at this time but it doesnt have a heat bed.. i read somewhere where u mentioned a heat bed with certain temperature is really important to make inmoov parts... do u still suggest tiko without a heat bed for inmoov?

TIA

Hello Ramki,
Indeed, the Tiko doesn't have a heat bed and it will be difficult to print ABS in this machine. But I have seen more InMoov printed in PLA than ABS and some of them were very fine.
Though, I still recommend printers with a heated bed because they will allow you more possibities for various projects.

You can buy a decent printer for 600 euro and after your done printing your inMoov you'll still have the printer for other projects....

for other projects, replacement parts for InMoov, and further upgrades as they're published.

I bought a prusa i3 kit on craigslist for $250 dollars that has a heated bed.  It's a nice printer too.

Hallo Michael Gramberg,
