Hi there,
I’m struggling for some weeks with the top stomach and broke already a master and slave servo by forcing manually by hand The Worms into the sockets. The issue everytime is: that I can’t get the torso straight at 90 degrees. The closest I get so far, is 85 degrees. AI (who search for me all the inmoov forums) told  me that it could be a “bad” print of the Worms/socket.
Is that the issue?

The waist is fine at 90 degrees but I printed that worm in 2 halves and clued them together because of the stuck support on the worm I couldn’t remove.

Thanks, Marina

According to your explanations, the wormGears are too tight fitting in their sockets, and as a result the servo is forcing, trying to reach the 90° desired position.
If you are printing with PLA, you can try easing the fitting by adding toothpaste, and manually move the parts into each other until it gets smoother.
When printing with ABS, I use very fine grinding sand until the parts move smoothly and then rinse off the exceeding sand.

I personally print the wormGears without support if that can give you another solution.
