Inmoov hand i2 .step or CAD files

Hello,

I am working on a project where we want to try using the inmoov i2 hand/forearm assembly for mounting to a robot arm. So far, we built one that is 3d printed for testing and we really like it. 

We are somewhat looking into what it would be like to machine some of the parts for the hand from metal to increase the durability. The only issue is that for our purposes we had to make some minor changes to the design such as drilling holes and cutting a slot into the hand cover, which would be much more difficult to have done after the machining ourselves. Is there any way that we could get access to CAD or .step files for the i2 parts? We have a small budget for the project and would be willing to buy them if possible. We took a look through the downloads on the website, and these do not seem to be available, only the .stl files are.
