Can you use PLA instead of ABS for InMoov parts and is there any problems with parts fitting together using PLA?
If not PLA, please explain why not.

I am searching for a 3D printer and most of the Makerbot printers that they have going forward do not support ABS plastic filament.

Thanks,

I've printed my inmoov(s) in PLA.  ABS parts shrink more than PLA when the cool off.  So, some of the parts require a bit of extra sanding in order to fit them together , but you can make it work.

I have printed my Inmoov in ABS as PLA does not survive being outdoors(left in hot car) very well. I would make it from PLA if I was only going to use the robot indoors.

Forget the Maketbot... they are over priced and you are just paying for the name... I have a Flashforge Creator Pro and it is awesome...It has a heated build plate so it prints both abs and pla.. So you don't have to choose.....
