I'm using this design to work on a prosthetic arm for my friend who was born without a forearm,

And I was hoping someone could list out the exact parts I would need to buy, the ones that cannot be printed, I've been having trouble finding a full list,

I plan on running the servos off an arduino uno mounted in the forearm.

So it would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me out

I need a list for the servo motors and the wires and the finger sensors

Please and thank you

Allison

Which hand are we talking about? Gael's new one or the original one from inMoov.... The original hand is not sold or for sale, it is a free download to 3d print... The new one, I am not sure Gael is finished it yet so there is no parts list that I am aware of....

FYI all the inMoov 3d parts are listed on the inMoov website in the download section....

Duh, I think I understand now.... for the forearm right to the elbow... you will need...
1) 6 x regular servos (I used MG946 I got off of eBay) 5 for the fingers and one for the optional wrist rotate

2)  .8mm (that's 0.8 not 8) 200lbs braided fishing line for tendons... (from eBay again)

3)  Acetone or plastic epoxy (acetone is stronger in my opinion)

4)  Various small hardware like nuts and bolts and screws (be prepared to visit the Home Depot a few times)

5) Lot's of patience (-:

A couple of things that I'll be doing in the next arm I'm building might be worth thinking about.
I'm substituting braided stainless fishing leader wire for fishing line that way I can use crimps rather than trying to tie knots and it is very flexible.  I'm also going to add brass or stainless sleeves to all the pass through holes,  The prototype that we've built is showing a lot of wear where the fishing line passes through the guide holes.  This may be because we are using PLA but I suspect with a lot of use you'll see the same thing in ABS if you use that.

Hi Pro.B,
Just to avoid confusion, I never recommended using braided "stainless" fishing line, and I do suspect that this causes extra wear of the pass through holes.
I'm using braided fishing line, 200LB of 0.8mm diameter.
As example:
