HS-805BB and HS-805BB+

Hello,

I'm currently building the inmoov, and one of the few parts i've to still to purchase is the HS-805BB. However i have a problem when trying to purchase these online as i found that there are two models of this servo, the HS-805BB and HS-805BB+ but i can't tell the differences between the two. And one of the website giving HS-805BB specs gives an option to choose between a 90 servo or 180 servo, so i'm confused.Are these 10 HS-805BB servos required supposed to rotate 180° or only 90° ?

Aaah, that is a new info...

I never saw that there was a HS-805BB+ model.
Select in any case the 180 degree rotation models. Some of those servos will need to be disassemble to extract the potentiometer anyway.

I , indeed, don't see either the difference between the HS-805BB and HS-805BB+.

Lets hear what the other builders have to say about that.

Tower Hobbies TS-80 is an exact copy of the Hitec 805bb and is cheaper to boot.... I used them in my inMoov

I haven't tried the Tower Hobbies TS-80, but I had added them in the alternative servo list along with others.

Awesome Gael.... They are identical physically in every way (included power stats too) to the Hitecs... Except for the sticker on the servo saying TS-80... I am pretty sure they are a generic version of the HS-805bb and probably even made by Hitec... I have one Hitec HS-805bb servo in my inMoov, the rest are TS-80...

Great, that is good§
Now, it would be nice to find the same equivalent than the HK15298B, because it is a nightmare to get them in Europe by Hobbyking. Too many InMoov builders buying them, they are constantly out of stock.

I need to buy 14 of them at the moment... for another project.
