Hello,
Manticore is the latest stable release of MRL.
Nixie is still a work in progress, but at the moment there is many things that work properly.
Nixie will have a lot more features and is mainly changing of UI approach. The new UI is web designed and works with Chrome.

InMoov2 is using the web UI benefits and therefore becomes a lot more graphical, making the environment a lot more user friendly.
It is also a big work in progress.
You can install the latest Nixie and enjoy it.
We need testers on Nixie to report issues to MRL developers.

Hello, I also have a few questions regarding Nixie and InMoov2,

One this page (https://inmoov.fr/inmoov2-in-nixie/) where I can download myrobotlab.jar, the link (http://build.myrobotlab.org:8080/job/myrobotlab/job/develop/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/target/myrobotlab.jar) doesn't work for me. It has 404 error.

Also concept wise, I will ask for a few confusions:

1. Is myrobotlab a platform exclusively designed for InMoov or it is a general purpose platform on which we can also run other large projects? (other large ready-to deploy project, no the possibility of building other large projects.)

2. It seems like Nixie is neither a newer version of MRL nor a newer version of InMoov, is it a new UI for MRL, or a new version of the glue code that tie MRL and InMoov together? As a beginner, a clear understanding of the topology between them would help.

3. For InMoov2, is it purely a upgrade in software, or it also refers to a set of upgrade on the hardware space?

Thanks. I'm sure these are newbie questions, but they really confuse me and increase the barrier for me to make progress.

Hello,
The Nixie download link sometimes throws an error 404 because Nixie is a work in progress. Which means sometimes some of are recent codes creates conflicts when merging to the master branch. But most of the time this gets fixed in a short time.

1.  MRL can also run other large project, you can create your own project based on MRL.

2. The foundations of the code between Manticore and Nixie is different on many levels, this is one of the reason it is taking ages to have a official release of Nixie. Lots of things to be fixed. Also MRL is now using a webgui instead of a swingui. Although the new version of InMoov is mainly graphical  to improve the user approach, it is also getting cleaner in it's java code and has a 3D InMoov for gesture testing and possibly walk rendering.

3. For InMoov2, is it purely a upgrade in software, or it also refers to a set of upgrade on the hardware space
InMoov2 is mainly a software upgrade which will integrate some hardware updates, such as finger hall sensors, AOK, and kinematics.
