Hi Everyone,
I am working with my robot lab a bit lately and getting my eyes hooked up.  When I mounted my cameras , I have them rotated 90 degrees. (one eye is clockwise rotated, and the other is counter clock rotated.)
I see that there is the "flip" filter for  OpenCV in myrobotlab that will flip an image, but I was hoping to find a way to rotate the image by 90 degrees clock or counter clock.
OpenCV seems to support this by using the affine transformation.

Is there a way to wire these transforms up to OpenCV from Python?  Or do I need to extend the java code to support this?
Also,  I have been looking for any python documentation on the InMoov service , is this posted anywhere?

Thanks,
  -Kevin

Your best bet is to head over to myrobotlab.org and create a post about what you need. Grog is pretty quick to respond.

Thanks Keith.  I've posted over there.  If I get an answer, I'll update this thread

I see Grog Responded. I told you he was fast.

Hi guys,
yes it is best to see directly over to MRL, since it is mainly a software issue.. I 'm glad Grog already responded. I will follow this topic, because it is an interesting question.

Hi Gael,
You've convinced me to start trying out/using MyRobotLab.  I was a little skeptical at first, but after seeing how many packages have already been integrated there.  I now have some of my first python scripts and voice recognition going with my InMoov.  Next is going to be getting the tracking and face detection going which is when I discovered there was no easy way to rotate the image from the camera.  Luckily,  Grog was super responsive.  The transpose filter in OpenCV (added by Grog yesterday) will do a rotation of the image by 90 degrees. So, if you want to rotate 270 degrees you can apply the transpose filter 3 times.   This not not yet part of the binary release but if you are able to build MyRobotLab from source, it will be available.
Regards,
  -Kevin

I just read the posts on MRL and saw Grog's responses. I'm glad there is a solution. I hadn't realised when I saw your STL's that you had planned to reverse one of the camera.
As Grog often says, software can do just about everything. Specially MRL!!
