Hi everyone, I’m just starting out and probably just being a bit stupid, but can anyone help?
I’ve been having a good read through the instructions for the hand and forearm but I can’t find an stl file for the robpart with the 4 holes in to accommodate the extra servo for the articulated thumb. Can anyone tell me where to find it, or if not, where to drill the holes to fit it. Also, I’m having a little trouble sourcing the extension springs that go in the wrist if anyone has a recommendation for those.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Simon

Forget the extra servo just build the thumb with one servo... 2 servos never really worked properly...

I figured the holes aren't required anymore; in the forarms, there is one hole inside along the bottom forarm supports (robpart2V4.stl) and two in the bottom wrist stl that hold the servo there (LeftRotawrist1V4.stl). But like RobGuy6 mentioned, its probably not worth it; its a very tight fit. Also there is only 10 hole guides in the (WristGearsV5.stl) for the cables; 5 fingers for back and forth motion. I don't see another way to feed the braided line for the 11th and 12th. In one of Gael's pictures in the forearm assmebly his wrist gear is one large hole instead of guides; maybe if that was still around it would allow more room.

did you solve your problem and made an articulated thumb with an extra servo?
