How to improve workplace ergonomics
1. Keyboard and mouse placement: The keyboard and mouse should be positioned at a comfortable height and distance from your body, so you don't have to reach or stretch to use them.
2. Wrist posture: Keep your wrists straight and in line with your forearms while typing to reduce the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome and other wrist injuries.

Learning Basic Position is critical to learning touch typing. Practice bringing your fingers into the basic position WITHOUT LOOKING and then take them away. Repeat until you can do it comfortably.

The first principle of touch typing is to always return your fingers to the home row when you are not typing.
