As you might or might not know, we currently have two methods of running InMAP source-receptor simulations in the cloud:
- The method described here: https://inmap.run/blog/2019/04/20/sr/; and
- The method described here: https://inmap.run/blog/2022/12/15/tutorial/
The second method was created a couple of years ago, and is meant to be a replacement for the first method, but we've kept the first method running in the interim.
However, the first method is much more expensive for us to host than the second method, so we are planning to shut the first method down. As far as I can tell, the second method gets used a lot more than the first method, so it doesn't seem like shutting the first method down will be a big disruption. If you are currently a user of the first option, however, let us know and we will try to help you migrate to the new way or figure out a different solution.
Best regards,
Chris
