1) recent Fern Mt trail work; 2) volunteers needed for brushing

The Inlet Parks Department trail crew has been busy out on Fern Mt.
Check out the pictures on our Files Page (IMGP0305tn.jpg &
IMGP0306tn.jpg). They installed several long-needed stream crossings
and added drainage, wood chips & signs. Of course there's always more
to do but keep up the great work guys!

BRUSHING VOLUNTEERS
We may have had a dry Summer but the forest is still growing -
right into our trails. The Parks Department has nearly 100 miles of
trails to keep clear and would greatly appreciate ANY help volunteers
can provide cutting back brush.
Snowmobile trails and Fern Mt trails could all use some clearing -
it's time to take the lopping shears and hand saws on your hikes &
bikes! Also, if anyone is interested in organizing a volunteer day
with the Town or Barnstormers or Inlet Business Association post a
