Route: snowmobile trail, from the dam at the end of Lake View Road on
Otter Lake, past Brandy Lake to Round Lake Road near the Masonic
Camp.

The first part of the trail, along the outlet, has some very wet areas
and several sections that you have to walk around, but once you climb
a little above the stream, the trail is dry and clear, past the trail
left to 28 and the spur left to the Shore of Brandy Lake. It rolls
nice for a little while past Brandy but then it gets wet again. Every
low area is soft mud the entire width of the trail that forces you to
dismount and walk around. A few miles from Round Lake Road it dries
up and you can keep rolling, past the trail right to Boonville and
down to the road.

I'm not sure I'd ride this route again; the wet areas really ruin what
would be a fast and fun ride. Considering the spring we've had, this
trail is probably about as dry as it ever gets. Instead of going down
to Woodgate, you can take the trail north to the Moose River Road.
This trail, except for one swampy area you have to walk through, is
much drier.
