Borrego Springs / Julian Ride

Hey all, looks like this sunday feb 2nd ( superbowl ) when everyone else is sitting around a TV we are going down to borrego springs and julian .... join us this Triumph riding group, non-triumph owners are welcome. Actually we are taking votes for the day to go Feb 1st or Feb 2nd. Would be nice if some more IE riders are going. So far Lee and I only. Bo you in? Art?

Not likely for me....superbowl is a pretty big family get together for us.

 

Besides, I am putting together a new bike for myself and it's not yet done. I may have it by then but it needs to go on some rides local a couple times before a real outing. I was planning on having a Feb 17th or 24th ride though. I'll keep you informed!

I have a 2011 Daytona 675 that is being converted into a street triple. It was a wrecked and stolen bike that needed alot of little things done. We have done alot of surgery to it but it's geting close! Should be a fun bike to ride.

I want another bike in addition to my bonnie. Been looking at something little more commuter friendly, used. Like a Sprint ST, Tiger, or even a cruiser like a Thunderbird ... want is different than buying. Hopefully when the timing is right DD will have a good used deal on something that may work for me.

Yea with how you use your bike a Sprint ST or Tiger would be perfect. We have a bike here used that I'd buy myself if I wasn't just months away from being a Dad. This bike is amazing. The good ones always seem to come along when you CAN'T do anything about it!

 

This Dayona/Street Triple is my personal perfect bike. It's going to do eveything I want from a bike.

I don't ride (nor get up) that early. If you were to schedule a more
reasonable hour of the morning for a ride (lets say 10am start) I might
consider coming.

However, ride safe, ride warm, and keep the rubber side down!
