I won't be able to go to this bike night. If you didn't already know, Nicole
gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on Saturday. His name is Noah Steven
Guilfoil. Unfortunately by Sunday evening he stopped bouncing so much and
has been admitted into the Neonatal ICU in Redlands where they are treating
him for problems related to regulating his blood sugar. Long story short, we
have been there around the clock pretty much to feed him on schedule and
assist in this process of building back his systems. The doctors have a good
plan and it seems to be working going by the blood sugar measurements.
So, not only am I exhausted, I'm pretty aborbed in this and want to be there
as much as possible.
Bike night hasn't flourished over the past year but I would like to continue
to have it. We have been meeting at 7:30 still on the first and third
Wednesday at Corner Bakery on Orange St in Redlands. It's a great place!
Good food, good parking, outside and inside seating that's perfect for us
plus a decent area.
Lets continue to meet there. Although I won't be there tonight I sure hope
to start seeing people going more regular. I really love talking to all of
you and enjoying the comaradarie with other riders. Encourage your other
motorcycle friends to go too!
Now that spring is here we will contact people again since most are not on
this email list and make sure they know when and where. I won't be doing
that today but for the next meeting, 5/15, we should have several new faces
to join the regular ones. But don't let that stop you from going tonight!
I ask for ONE agenda item between now and the end of the next RAT night.
Decide on a day ride for May 19th. It's the best time of the year for
rides....lets get out and ride!
