Good morning,

My name is Shawny Lewis and I will be helping Kim Terry with the exhibitor portion of our 8th Annual Auto Club Speedway STEM Day. This event will take place at the Auto Club Speedway on Friday, March 24, 2017. The Auto Club Speedway, the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools’ Alliance for Education, and collaborating partners will be holding this event from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. Students will have time at the exhibits intermittently 8-9 am then 10am - 1:30 pm.

For additional background information about the event see the attached “ACS 2017 Information” sheet.

The Alliance for Education is eager to secure the commitment of exciting exhibitors so that we can ensure the event is successful. Time commitment would be 7 am - 1:30 pm. Ideal exhibits would have something for students to see, do, experience, and/or take away that is STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and/or motorsports related

If you are interested and available, please  respond to this email ASAP, with your commitment to participate. Please see attached Exhibitor General Information Sheet for additional exhibitor details.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you will be participating.

Also, please let me know if you have any questions or need any clarification.

I look forward to your participation.

Thanks,

Shawny

Based on the description in the blue box of a suggested 4 hour limit, I don't think this would be an allowed unbagging.

However, if we got a coalition together with just a few students from each team and took turns unbagging our robot for display, it would work.

Thanks, you guys are all awesome!

This event is on Friday, don't know if that will be an issue for your teams, Dara.

Our team will be competing in LA that day and cannot make it

Thank you all. PolyTechs might be interested. (Actually I was hoping
to go into LA that day to see the regional.) I will speak with the
team tomorrow to see their views. Also I'm glad you showed us the
form--we have an 8th grade open house around March 8--so now I know I
can show a working robot. ---John gifford
