Robokong is working hard to get a robot ready, working on final parts, painting, bumpers, assembly and starting to test the design. I think we will make it, fingers are crossed!
Below are some VERY important things to remember as we go into week 6..
Want to make sure you pass inspection at your competition, take the time now to read thru the robot inspection form (attached) and self-inspect your robot. If you are not sure if your robot is correct, ask here. Do you want me to inspect your robot? Arrange to bring it by La Sierra High School in Riverside and I will inspect it for you.
ROBOT LOCKUP FORM
Keep an eye on the FIRST web site for the Robot Lockup Form for this year. It must be filled out when you bag your robot next week. I've attached last year's as a sample
BILL OF MATERIAL
Rule I07
You are required to bring a Bill Of Materials for your robot and present it to the inspector at your competition. I attached ours from last year to use as an example.
WHEN DO WE STOP WORKING ON THE ROBOT AND BAG IT?
Rule R15
All ROBOT elements (including items intended for use during the competition in alternative
configurations of the ROBOT), with the exception of the WITHHOLDING ALLOWANCE per R21,
BUMPERS, and COTS items, must be bagged and sealed, by 04:59 UTC on Stop Build Day,
Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
