The sun is shining and I am inside writing…
Feature specification is a tool to design something to a use and desire.
Containing practical matters.
For me and my build it will be
Someone with larger girth (yes I have a bump in the middle)
Avoiding my elbow nerv. I Can not define here to solve this issue. But body size or comfort fit will in the physical specification resolve that.
Finger style player
Inspire to sing. Voice to my range.
Focus more on top range than bottom .
Easy to have long harmonic notes.
Not to hard to reach and make 4 finger cords at upper fret. Not a lot of hand twisting or finger stretching. A relaxed playing style.
Able to see fingering of cords.
To be able to sit in the sofa and play.
From here a physical specification is made containing dimensions and solutions.
So in my case the feature specification is driving the guitar to be not very wide.
Smaller in size and shorter scale. Steel string. The x brazing should be less than 90 degrees. Spruce or fir top with tight bracing pattern. Thinner top. Lot of sustain. Carbon fiber in neck. Stiff sides with laminated Kerfing.
Just plucking along.

The feature specification is basically the customer requirements.
Keep in bending and sanding.
