Here is one close up on the Kabrell’s cutout.

Notice the big chunks of wood.   One for the mid neck screw.   And one for the pointy tip of the snail.   As seen the snail is laminated and the Kerfing.

Here is my latest wood template.   They are 25 and 28mm wide

 I like the smaller one best for the T00SS.

And here is a picture of rev 1 of the drawing.   

As seen I am not 100% happy. so it needs some changes and be redone.

Designing is an interactive process.   

The close x brace pattern will promote strong high end.    But since the body is small it probably will lack bottom end.   I am also concerned that the X is to far from the bridge.  So it needs to be adjusted.   I may do a prototype top and cladny pattern.

If you don’t break something, you don’t know how strong it is and were the weakness are.   You can learn a lot with reparing with glue.
