Injection Molding Team Leader (German speaking)

Our client is the U.S. headquarters of a German manufacturer and
worldwide leader in its industry. They tasked us to find them an
outstanding German/English speaking Injection Molding Engineer/Team
Leader. This position has 3 Mold Engineers reporting to it.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform engineering activities associated with the development and
improvement of injection molds.
• Evaluate, define and approve injection molds.
• Make recommendations to mold vendors and Tool and Die Shop.
• Coordinate improvements internally and with outside vendors.
• Prepare cost estimates based on mold design.
• Maintain records, files, and other documentation pertinent to
special and regular assignments performed.
• Maintain currency with respect to technical and administrative
skills by attending training classes, special technical and
administrative courses, seminars, exhibits and trade shows as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant 4-year
engineering degree.
• 3-5 years mechanical design experience (using Unigraphics, ProE,
Solidworks or another 3D program).
• In-depth experience designing and approving injection molds.
• Experience working with mold vendors.
• German language skills (absolutely required to interact with mold
vendors in Germany).
• Stable work history.
• Ability to work independently.
• Self driven.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• SAP experience desired.

This position does involve minimal international travel to help
establish relationships with international vendors.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
