Vimal Bhai Fights On ! Keep him in your thoughts and wishes for early healing 

Health Bulletin 1: Update regarding Vimal Bhai's Medical Condition: 14th Aug, 12:00 am

Friends,

As many of you must have heard by now, senior social and environmental activist, Vimal bhai, has been very unwell for the past few days with fever and fatigue. On 10th Aug, he was taken to the Safdarajang hospital and the same evening admitted to the AIIMS, Delhi, owing to his deteriorating health situation.

He is under constant medical supervision, due to multiple complications related to lungs, liver, kidney etc. He is currently on ventilator support and is being administered dialysis in a careful way, by ensuring appropriate BP levels. Doctors are maintaining that this will have to be done for the next 48 hours in order to ensure no damage to his organs. This is a crucial period for him and all of us.

A group of saathis from Khorigaon and many Delhi saathis have been visiting the hospital, follow-ing up regularly. Adv Sanjay Parikh ji and other lawyers have also been visiting Vimal bhai. A solidarity team is monitoring his health developments closely.

We are thankful to all friends, family and well-wishers of Vimal bhai for reaching out, being there, in this critical hour. The support of the doctors and staff at AIIMS has been valuable.

Despite the challenging situation, we hope that, being the fighter he is, Vimal bhai will bounce back soon and heal fully.
