Join the National Day of Protest Against Draconian Laws on 28th August, 2021
Friends,
As you already know, NAPM is part of the ongoing joint national campaign against UAPA, sedition and all other draconian laws, which are threatening our right to democratic dissent.
The key demands of this campaign are:
1) Justice for Stan Swamy.
2) Repeal of UAPA, sedition and all other draconian Central and State laws.
3) Restore the Right to Bail.
4) Release all Political Prisoners.
5) Accountability for filing false cases and compensation to victims.
6) Stop illegal detentions and weaponizing the criminal justice system.
NAPM was part of the previous campaign calls on 9th and 15th August demanding freedom to all political prisoners.
We urge you all, once again, to organize and join local peaceful actions across the country on 28th August, 2021, in solidarity with the Joint National Call for Protest. These could take the form of: physical protests, rallies or meetings, virtual discussions, sharing messages on social media via videos, photographs and many others.

एनएपीएम के साथी संगठनों और सहयोगियों से अपील
28 अगस्त, 2021 को दमनकारी कानूनों के खिलाफ देशव्यापी विरोध दिवस में जुड़े
साथियों,
जैसा कि आप जानते हैं, एनएपीएम यूएपीए, राजद्रोह और अन्य सभी दमनकारी कानूनों के खिलाफ चल रहे संयुक्त राष्ट्रीय अभियान का हिस्सा है।
इस अभियान की प्रमुख मांगें हैं:
1) स्टेन स्वामी के लिए न्याय
2) यूएपीए, राजद्रोह और अन्य सभी दमनकारी केंद्रीय और राज्य कानून निरस्त हों
3) जमानत का अधिकार बहाल किया जाए
4) सभी राजनीतिक बंदियों की रिहाई
5) झूठे मामले दर्ज करने वालों की जवाबदेही और पीड़ितों को मुआवजा
6) अवैध हिरासत और आपराधिक न्याय प्रणाली को हथियार बनाने पर रोक
एनएपीएम ने सभी राजनीतिक बंदियों के आजादी की मांग को लेकर 9 से 15 अगस्त के पिछले अभियान में हिस्सा लिया था।
हम आप सभी से एक बार फिर 28 अगस्त 2021 को संयुक्त देशव्यापी विरोध दिवस में एकजुट होकर देश भर में शांतिपूर्ण स्थानीय कार्यों का आयोजन करने और इनमें शामिल होने का आग्रह करते हैं।आप विरोध प्रदर्शन, रैली या बैठक, ऑनलाइन चर्चा, सोशल मीडिया पर तस्वीरों और वीडियो को साझा करना, आदि द्वारा अपना समर्थन दे सकते हैं।
