How do I revert back from the latest update? I will now need to change programs do reduce some noise or add years to my workflow. These new settings don't work the same as the older version and the AI is a nightmare when you're batch processing 200 files at once.
I had to roll back to 6.3. Things were not right after this update. AI could not detect people in my photo and there were other masking issues too. Denoise AI did not work at all on my .CR3 files. In every try I was presented with the message "Upsupported Photo: This photo is not supported by this feature." No explanation as to why or how to fix it. Usually I love getting the updates but this was over the top frustrating. Let me know when it all works and I will try again. Thx.
@Catherine2950959417ec Do you perhaps shoot one of the downsized raw formats like sRAW or mRAW? They're not "real" raw data any more as they're demosaiced by the camera, so they're not supported at this time.
I am a bit late the revert to downrev thread, this being Feb '24. However, I wanted to add my two cents. I was all good with updates in LRc until earlier this month. The move to 13.0.1.2 (or there abouts) really impacted LRc speed. I have a Nvidia GTX745 & 32GB RAM.. Granted, my PC is a bit outdated, but if it ain't broke...$$$ I reverted to 12.5 and my graphics processing has improved, not to what is was, but liveable (haven't rebooted yet). NOTE: reverting to 12 from 13 resulted in losing to access to pics processed in catalog13--the revert forced me back to a pre 13 catalog. This means edits made after upgrading to 13 are likely going to require re-do. So everthing since October in my case. Guess I will live in v12.5 until $3K available for a new PC with updated Nvidia graphics card.
I have previously had no issue downloading lightroom on my Mac using the three dots in the CC desktop app and selecting "older versions" as instructed here, however now I no longer have the three dots and it just says "system incompatible." I am still able to access older versions of photoshop and other programs, but can't figure out a way to get Lightroom back on my computer, and I'm at my wits end after wasting many, many hours fighting with this system. Hope someone can help.
Same problem. Trying to update LR removed my existing version and then it told me new version incompatible! And I no longer have 3 dots and option to roll back. So I have lost access to my many-years-long LR library!!!!
Hello im having issues with Lightroom CC on my phone (android). everytime i try to edit a photo it just shows that its trying to load the image, then it says "faild to load development version" then continues to have the little spinning wheel. All im trying to do is export a picture and it tells me i have no internet connection even though i do. Please help ive been trying for the past hour and nothings working
Just started the Failure to load development error. I have been using a Samsung Galaxy tab A and LR CC for months just fine. I do not a Prevent From Sleep choice in settings. I cannot import new images into LR CC either. Any help appreciated.
I am also facing the exact same problem whenever I try to open a photo in lightroom then I couldn't open it and they show this message failed to load development option. So I don't know what should I do? Fixed this problem Adobe.
I turned my WiFi off and back on and then restarted the app. I think my problem is due to slow internet upload speeds. Downloads are fast but uploads aren't which I think causes issues when doing cloud computing.
Not exactly the same problem but I get the same message. I have a Samsung Tab A clone. What seems to be happening is LR is confusing the SD card that I have inserted permanently as added storage with the SD card from my camera that I am reading as USB external storage. It writes all or some of its info out to the camera card instead of the internal card.
I am running mac Monterrey with all the DNG/LRCC updated and have a similiar problem that the development module does not load. Only the "Basic" editing features appear with no access to the library AND I do have a good wifi connection.
Guys, I was having the same problem, the photos that a take and save in Instagram doesn't showed up, so I needed to click in the "Google Photos" icon, but it was doing that same bug, so I take a printscreen of the photo that I took on the Instagram and it worked!
(Sorry for bad English)
In case it helps anyone, my versions would not load for one photo of mine. I did restart my computer, that didn't work. What I think might have helped is that I closed the Adobe Creative Cloud icon in my top bar on my mac. Suddenly that photo is loading the versions. They were just spinning where the thumbnail images were. Good luck!
You can use the premium features of the Lightroom app by using 2 methods: 1st, Method is to use a free MODED version, which is available on lightroomapks.com, 2nd is to use the Trial version, which offers the app's premium features for 7 days.
This website is designed to provide the 100 % working downloadable link of Lightroom MOD APK to our users, so they can enjoy the premium features of the app free of cost.
Instead, do yourself and everyone seeking to help you a huge favor and use the complete name and version number of the software you need help with. To find this important nugget of information, go to Help > System Info (same on both Mac and Windows) and you will see the product name and version number right at the top of the System Info window that appears.
When trying to import via USB cable to the M11 using Lightroom, it only shows the Leica M11 device, but shows "No Photos" in the device. I have a different computer with an earlier version of Lightroom that works just fine.
The photos of the M11 (the thumnails in import mode) were not displayed in Lightroom for a long time when connecting the camera to the computer via cable. The problem was with Apple or Adobe. Anyway, it was fixed at some point (with Ventura 13.2 I think, but maybe also with a Lightroom update at the same time). Then at some time it didn't work again for a while, maybe it was under Lightroom 12.4, but I can't remember exactly. Under 12.5 it runs but with me again.
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, usually called Lightroom, is an image organization and processing application developed by Adobe. It is licensed as a standalone subscription or as part of Creative Cloud. It is supported on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and tvOS (Apple TV). Its primary uses include importing, saving, viewing, organizing, tagging, editing, and sharing large numbers of digital images.[6] Lightroom's editing functions include white balance, presence, tone, tone curve, HSL, color grading, detail, lens corrections, and calibration manipulation, as well as transformation, spot removal, red eye correction, graduated filters, radial filters, and adjustment brushing. The name Lightroom is a play on the darkrooms used for processing film.
Lightroom is non-destructive editing software that keeps the original image separate from its edits, saving the edited image as a new file. While Photoshop includes doctoring functions like adding, removing or altering the appearance of individual image items, rendering text or 3D objects on images, or modifying individual video frames, Lightroom is a library and development software.[clarification needed] Lightroom can store and organize photos once imported into the platform database, and is currently compatible with TIFF, JPEG, PSD (Photoshop), PNG, CMYK (edited in RGB color space) and raw image formats.[7]
Initially, Adobe Lightroom was only available on desktop operating systems. In 2017, it was expanded to support mobile operating systems with the release of Lightroom Mobile. Later in 2017, Adobe released a new variant of Lightroom, Lightroom CC, to be more consistent with their mobile software. The existing version of Lightroom was renamed Lightroom Classic CC, and Lightroom Mobile was renamed to Lightroom CC to have the same name as the new desktop version. The three Lightroom variations differ in how they store images and interact with Adobe's cloud storage offering, and in their feature sets. Lightroom CC stores all uploaded photos and raw files on a cloud server, while Lightroom Classic CC stores files locally and has a more extensive set of features.[8][9] Both CC platforms and Lightroom Mobile also allow users to create, upload, and export Lightroom presets, a batch copy of an image's in-program edits.[clarification needed]
In 1999, veteran Photoshop developer Mark Hamburg began a new project, code-named Shadowland, a reference to the 1988 KD Lang music album of same name.[15] Hamburg contacted Andrei Herasimchuk, former interface designer for the Adobe Creative Suite, to start the project.[16] It was an intentional departure from many of Adobe's established conventions. Forty percent of Photoshop Lightroom is written in the scripting language Lua. In 2002, Hamburg left the Photoshop project and in fall of the same year he sent a first experimental software sample, name PixelToy, to his former teammate Jeff Schewe for review; in 2003, Hamburg presented Schewe a first version of Shadowland in a very early UI version.[15] After research by Hamburg, Herasimchuk, Sandy Alves (the former interface designer on the Photoshop team), and Grace Kim (a product researcher at Adobe), the Shadowland project accelerated around 2004. Herasimchuk chose to leave Adobe Systems at that time to start a Silicon Valley design company. Hamburg then chose Phil Clevenger, a former associate of Kai Krause, to design a new look for the application.[16]
