Ihave an EA Access subscription on my Xbox, and I still get this error whenever I try to play multiplayer in Battlefield V. However all other EA games work without facing this kinda issue at all. I played the game and reached rank 20, after that I couldn't play it anymore, I even tried to unistall/reinstall again but with no hope.

@DiYaRDJN If you read the topics up, used the shared link to close the shard games and its not work.

please contact xbox support. that's the last solution.

you could ask xbox support to remove the trail version and then you can download the free version and enjoy the game.

I recovered my gamertag and attempted to play multiplayer but was asked for the EA multiplayer code. I re-entered my valid code but was told that my code was already registered, and that I could buy another one.

The answer is no, you can't. EA, as well as many companies, are countering the second-hand market by charging users a fee to play their games online (or for content that came with the disc). Your online pass is tied to your system. For any system, regardless of log-in, to play any copy of BF3, it'll need an online pass purchased for it.

What you are actually asking about is "How do I take my Battlefield 3 multiplayer key from one Xbox to another?" The answer to this is: You can only transfer DLC from one Xbox 360 to another once every quarter (that is up to 4 times a year). You can find the license migration page here. The DRM on the Xbox 360 is set up so that you CANNOT have a purchased item usable on 2 Xbox 360s simultaneously, all DLC is tied to the console it was initially purchased on.

The way I can play at "The Show" (where I play with my friends) and I can play at home is I put my gamer tag on a thumb drive and also put the EA Pass on the thumb drive. Note you'll have to download the HD content to your harddrive still(unless you want lower resolution) but this works out very well for me.

You can also put other downloaded games on the thumb drive, including games that require the disc. I had to do this for Black Ops because of a disc defect that caused a circle-scratch and made the game unplayable without having the game downloaded onto the harddrive or flashdrive.

Unlike other answers, I believe your EA Pass is tied to your profile, so you should be able to (after recovering your gamer tag) redownload the EA pass. However, if someone else wants to try to play BF3 on their own gamer tag, they will have to buy an EA pass.

Yeah, it's really easy. Go on to your profile if you haven't. Re-download on your original Xbox, the one it's on, and now it is at the top of your download history. Go to the download history on the other Xbox, download it, and there you go.

As well as the option to re-download your online pass through your download history, you can also just "purchase" another online pass. EA has made online passes across all its games free, including Battlefield 3. You will see confirmation that your purchase has a price of "free". The download is very small (around 100 KB).

I just tried this on my Xbox, and it seems the prompt about a missing pass has been updated. You will now get 2 options, one to buy and one to re-download. You no longer need to go into your download history to find the online pass.

I recently bough an Xbox One just for BF4 and BF1, i'm so upset! i am going to wait a few days but if EA ignore the problem i return the console and the game for a full refund and stay on 360! BF4 is working on 360!

I found the solution. click on the Xbox sign on the controller. Select the game click start , then click on "gerer le jeu et les modules" (sorry i speak french) click on saved data. then deleate the saved data. Maybe you will loose the campaign. But multiplayer will work again and you loose nothing

When I try to play Battlefield 1 for Xbox One, I keep getting issues connecting to EA Online. I cannot connect to online features to go to multiplayer. I restarted my modem, signed in/out, checked Network Connectivity on my Xbox One only to tell me that I am connected to the Internet and that there is nothing wrong with my Multiplayer connection.

This started happening about 2 days ago after I played Multiplayer, when I returned to go back on multiplayer I got the message that I couldn't connect to EA Online. Checked the next day, and the same problem came up again, then I tried to reset everything to make it work but with no luck. I also checked my EA account to see if there was a problem, but I found nothing wrong.

Rarely does a video game stay in my regular rotation as often as this one, so I thought I'd take some time today to remember its anniversary. Even long-tail multiplayer offerings that are supported for ages typically lose my attention after a couple of years, but there's something about DICE's debut Xbox One title that's still incredibly fun to this day. Yep, 2013's Battlefield 4 just turned 10 (at least the Xbox 360/PC/PS3 version did) over the weekend - and I'm here to remind y'all that it's still well-populated and very good fun in 2023.

This was the Swedish developer's first foray into full-scale Battlefield on console, and boy did they knock it out of the park. Yes, it suffered from a buggy launch and yes, it probably should have been delayed due to the amount of platforms it had to release on in late 2013, but the core of the game was always fantastic and the team managed to turn things around in a big way post-launch.

Truth be told, I'd always been pretty jealous of the PC Battlefield 3 experience a couple of years prior in 2011 - the 360 version of that game was okay but it just didn't compare to the full 64-player experience. We finally got that with BF4 when it made its Xbox One debut shortly after the initial launch, and despite those early issues I mentioned, I've still been playing this game on the regular ever since.

The game's gunplay is fantastic; the interplay between infantry classes, vehicular combat, gadgets, environmental destruction and all the rest of it is largely unmatched to this day. A few of the Battlefield titles that arrived later last generation got some of these elements right - but things never came together the way they did with Battlefield 4. Call of Duty has done its best to go large-scale in recent years as well, and while that's been fun in its own right, Battlefield's vehicular gameplay and destruction elements play a big role in what makes BF4 so special.

I will admit there's not much to go at here for single-player or co-op fans, but if you're into your PvP shooters Battlefield 4 is still absolutely worth playing on Xbox Game Pass in 2023. Battlefield 2042 does an okay job and is much improved in its own right since launch, but for my money it still doesn't quite cut the mustard - Battlefield 4 remains the best Battlefield on Game Pass, and one of the best FPS titles in the library.

Ben is a News Writer at Pure Xbox, and is a fan of action, racing and straight-up shootin' in any Xbox game he can get his hands on. When he's not clutching an Xbox controller like his life depends on it, Ben spends his time listening to music that's far too old for him, watching football on the telly and probably eating somewhere.

It's amazing how far downhill FPS have gone over the past decade. We no longer get any good solo tactical games like Tom Clancy's Vegas, COD and Battlefield have lost their way, and live service zoomer shooters/battle royale games have become all the rage for publishers. It's no wonder I rarely see anything that excites me there anymore.

Greatest Battlfield was, for me, Bad Company 2 loved Vietnam Fortunate Son and flame throwers and was even in a clan for that game oh and how I loved them tanks especially blowing them up... big maps which was something COD couldnt match and vehicles you drive not just look at as you run past ...I'm not discounting the hot swap feature of the first console Battlefield which was so innovative and was dropped on next outing...

I tried BF4 it's fine. I got into Hardline more a few weeks ago (got to again, also 360 two disks hard drive storage is fun to just have as an oddity besides it's fair storage reasons) I didn't mind the police angle like SWAT or like Immortals of Aveum theme wise (something different) as was easier but I'll try 4 again. I know it had good elements in the singleplayer which is why I do want to play it. Multiplayer I did hear bits about.

I just didn't get the strategy at a certain point even though played BF games before or ones like it like SW BF 2004/05 or BF 2015/2017 (yes I know made by Dice. I have to get into playing Mirror's Edge Catalyst to play more or their racing games in the future for retro collecting/playing). I love the Vita support in the PS4 version.

@ebony-shabba There's still a good number of players for it being a game that's now 10 years old. I play it fairly often and finding a full large conquest server is never a problem, there's still a que to get in some of them in the afternoon through later part of the evening if not layer.

I loved playing BF4 on PS3: years ago. In 2017 or early part of 2018 I installed it after seeing it on game pass (EA play at the time) and fell in love with it again. Operation Metro is by far my favorite map, especially for large conquest. No vehicles and tight quarter infantry, especially inside the ticket hall and subway tunnel where objectives B and C are located.

Battlefield 4 is crazy amazing. I just find it hilarious how they tried a Battle Royale game mode and it didn't get much love. However, the squad deathmatch was it's Battle Royale in its own right. I think if they focused on that game mode battlefield would take off to the competitive scene.

I historically spend about 90 percent of my time in Conquest mode when I play a Battlefield game, but Commander mode in Battlefield 4 has me approaching 100 percent. Nothing beats the satisfaction of jumping into a Conquest match as a Commander when the game is halfway over and my team is losing badly, and then watching my team pull out a decisive victory once I start feeding them intel and issuing attack and defend orders.
