I see that iniparse has entered the Debian repositories
http://packages.debian.org/sid/python-iniparse excellent news.

Unless something strange happens and this work is abandoned by its
maintainer I will be just using the official package and not my own version
from now on. As a result I probably won't be updating the deb packaging I
contributed to the google code project.

The official packaging is likely much better written than mine, and will
certainly get more scrutiny and therefore find any bugs faster. I suggest
pointing people who want a .deb to the Debian repos from the wiki.

This is just great! I was going to package it for Debian myself, but
someone did it before. Just great!!

Thanks for maintaining the package so far!

PS: The current Debian maintainer, Ludovico Cavedon, does not seem to
be subscribed to this list. I'm not sure how Debian maintainers
typically track package changes... Should I invite him to join the
list?
