Angelia Avallone (アンジェリアアヴァロン, Anjeria Avaron) is the main antagonist and final boss of Arcana Heart 2. She is cheerful and openhearted, but egotistical. Seven years ago, she willingly traveled to the Arcana World from the physical world and, since then, has stopped aging. Her Arcana is Mildred, the Arcana of Halo ("Light" in the English version of Arcana Heart 3), who is her twin sister caught in a dimensional split between her world and the spirit world and received new powers as a result. Mildred was the main antagonist and final boss of the first Arcana Heart game, but now serves as Angelia's guardian following her defeat.[7]
Unironically this game has some of the funnest and most original concepts for characters (in terms of gameplay) and certain gimmicks that I have seen so far in an fg but it also appears to be mechanically deep with the whole homing mechanic and picking and arcana to match your character. After just testing it out, I unironically wish it had any community at all.
The arcana I just mentioned are something else that sets Arcana Heart apart from other fighting games; they're creatures based on Tarot cards that serve as partners. Each one has its own stats for offense and defense, and its own special skills. The Tyr arcana is ice-based and can freeze opponents, for instance, while the Nature arcana has healing powers. Instead of each fighter having her own movesets without any way to tweak them, any girl in Arcana Heart can use any arcana she likes. With 23 fighters and 23 arcana, there are hundreds of power combinations.
GC = Guard Cancel, while guarding, you can use the D button to cancel through and cancel the blockstun. Similar to Homing Cancels, GC6 is guard cancel forward, GC4 is guard cancel backwards. If you guard cancel forward (depending on your arcana choice, but we'll not get into that now), a red shield that clashes the opponents attacks pops up in front of you as you charge forward. If you guard cancel backwards, your character takes a jump back (meaning it'll go over lows) and then if you don't cancel the jump back in the air (only certain moves can be canceled in this way), your character will automatically run forward after she's done with the jump back.
Over the next days, Felicità helps Libertà and Nova catch a lost cat who was almost run over by a carriage. After they find the owner, both boys encourage Felicità to try using her powers more often, especially on the Major Arcana holders, who are well prepared to resist. Felicità is also invited to Piccolino by Luca, Pace and Debito; she tires reading their hearts, but Debito's is impossible to see through. Sometime later, Jolly makes a request for the Swords to bring Debito to his place, but Debito refuses to cooperate. Having been anticipating that result, Jolly suddenly takes Felicità to his dark laboratory. She sees a human-like figure in one of the containers and is shocked when Jolly explains he's been creating a "homunculus".
